CROW

Biography

CROW

Born near Philly, PA, Crow’s feet have been all over. He spent some time in the great North Woods in Oregon, living in a van, contracting for the US Forest Service, and playin at honkeytonk bar,s and sometimes out ‘front of the only food store in the nearest town. He claims to be the only person ever to have been handed a two dollar bill by two hot babes in a convertible Mustang for playin’ his “Organgrinder Song” … got some food that day!

CROW

He’s lounged on the green lawns of the University of Virginia, where he got his Ph.D. in Engineering Physics – but spent more time song-writing and performing than studying…. just enough of that. It hasn’t seem to hurt his sense of humor any.
Crow’s always been an entrepreneur. Started pulling weeds at 8, for 50 cents and hour… and there wasn’t much of anywhere to go but up from there!

He’s built a lot of things up and then got bored with them, but never song-writing. He took some time off for other projects, like learning to trade commodity futures — what supports him at the moment, but getting his songs and his unique singing, guitar and harmonica playing style “out there” has been rising to the surface again for a good while now. He’s started making demo recordings of his own music, and for hire…. Song-fixin’ too. It’s reckoned by many, he’ll be singin’ in Nashville one day soon.
As a kid, Crow always wanted to be a hermit up in Canada, but he quit that idea, in that van that was either too cold or full of mosquitoes as big as birds. He’s just a hermit now, in the heartland of Virginia, USA. 9 dogs, 2 cats, not a neighbor in site -- that’s just fine for now. While he trades futures contracts in solitude and stirs up his craft, he’s happy as can be, creatin’ his own reality.
