The Hoodoogang

The Hoodoogang is a Belgian blues band founded in the end of 2002 and well known in the best Benelux blues venues. In a little bit more than two years they have already produced and published two full CD’s, containing only original compositions: Busted Sessions (2004) and Go Ahead ‘n’ Scratch! (2005). These are combined with their own versions of other blues classics, like BB King or Stevie Ray Vaughan, during their powerful live shows.
We are pleased to inform you that the song "Never Meant To Hurt You", which was entered into the Blues category, has advanced onto the second round of judging for the 2005 International Songwriting Competition. We received almost 15,000 entries this year and want to congratulate you on this achievement. If you entered multiple songs, you will receive a separate email for each song that has advanced onto the second round of judging. Please note that if you do not receive an email about a specific song that you entered, it means that the song did not advance to the next round of judging. Please do not call or email our office to inquire about the status of the above mentioned song and/or any others that you may have entered, as the judging process is still ongoing.
